Shipping/Receiving

Customer will be invoiced for shipping and handling if a FedEx account number is not provided to ship on. Shipments will not be insured unless requested by the customer at the customer’s expense. Thecustomer is responsible for making claims against carriers for miss-delivery, non-delivery, loss, damage or delayed packages. AceVision Ultrasound is not liable for any losses in shipping.

Cancellation and Returns

Orders can be cancelled before end of business on the same day the order is placed, once the product is shipped cancellation may incur additional fees. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, and the sales representative must be notified of returns before the product is received back. No orders can be returned after 15 days.

Warranty Information

Repairs have a 120-day warranty from the date of shipment. Parts and probes also have 120-day warranties, unless otherwise specified by the sales representative. Warranties do not cover improper use, mishandling or improper installation. If a product is returned under warranty and no replacement is ordered, if the warranty is deemed invalid a restocking fee will apply.

Exchange Purchases / Core Returns

For products bought on exchange the core must be returned within 10 business days from the date of shipment, with a like-for-like part number being returned. Customers may be subjected to a core charge, potentially exceeding the price of the part sold if the core is not returned and a late fee if it is returned beyond the 10-day window.

Loaner Probe Policy

When AceVision Ultrasound provides a loaner probe to a customer, the defective probe must be returned to AceVision Ultrasound within 5 business days of receiving the loaner for GI probes, or within 3 business days for TEE and specialty probes. If a repair quote is issued in connection with the loaner, the customer has 5 days to approve or decline it; otherwise, loaner fees may apply. Once the repaired probe has been shipped back and received by the customer, the loaner probe must be returned to AceVision Ultrasound within 5 business days for GI probes or 3 business days for TEE and specialty probes. Failure to return the defective probe within the initial timeframe or to return the loaner probe after receiving the repair will result in loaner fees of $150 per week for GI probes and $300 per week for TEE and specialty probes.
